When the teacher asked the children what they wanted to be one day, she got a variety of responses. James wanted to be James wanted to be a driver. No one was at home after school, but he saw his uncle's car parked outside his house. He decided to sit in it. Soon his friends joined him. James, behind the wheel, pretended to drive the car. Spotting the key in the ignition, he started the engine. He pushed the pedals. Two of the children jumped out. The engine roared. Two more children jumped out. The car jerked forward and James bumped his nose. When the family returned, they found James in his room. He said nothing about the car. Later, deciding to go home, his uncle discovered the car in gear. He blamed it on forgetfulness. In class next day, the discussion about careers continued and James told the teacher he'd rather be a motor mechanic.
